Fried Ladle Chilli Prawn Cakes (UFO)

Ingredients
400g shrimps with shell
600g plain flour
2 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg (beaten)
1 red chillies (chopped)
2 tbsp fried shallot oil

Seasoning:
1/2 ikan bilis stock granule (mashed)
1/2 tsp salt

Method
1. Mix the flours baking powder until well combined. Add in egg, chopped chillies, shallot oil and seasoning, mix well, and form into dough. Rest dough for 30 mins.

2. Soak and reheat the soup ladle into hot oil for a while. Then, scoop about 1 tbsp batter mixture into the ladle and place a piece of shrimp on the batter.

3. Deep-fry into hot oil carefully over high heat until the prawn cakes is remove from the soup ladle, or floated, leave it into hot oil until the color are changes into golden browned.

4. Dish up, drain well and serve.

Wah...yummy!!! Taking about ladles, I fell into with the fried ladle veggie cakes at Chinatown.
